This article would interest all the laptop users who use their systems on the battery. It is very important to keep a track of the battery usage of our system and see the detailed information about the battery as this can only help us in determining how long shall our battery last.
BatteryInfoView is a app from Nirsoft, and is a small utility for laptops and netbook computers that displays the current status and information about your battery. Using this tool you can see information about your battery like battery name, manufacture name,serial number, manufacture date, power state (charging/discharging), current battery capacity, full charged capacity, voltage, charge/discharge rate, and more.
This tool called BatteryInfoView also comes with another feature called Battery Log, which helps you in monitoring the usage of your battery every 30 secs (by default) or some other interval selected by you. The tool is simple to use, as you just need to download it and double click it to run.
The Battery Information view is shown by pressing F7 while the Battery Log is shown by pressing the key F8, however to have some options configured press F9 to enter the advance settings mode.
The tool is really great if you want to check information and the usage statistics about battery. You can even save it by exporting to excel format. The tool is compatible on both 32 and 64 bits Windows.
